LinaTech's Superior Radiotherapy Products Garner Strong Interest at ESTRO Trade Show in Geneva

April 19-23, 2013

LinaTech participated in the European Society for Radiotherapy & Oncology (ESTRO) trade show, which brings together Radiation Oncology professionals to promote innovation, research, and dissemination of science in cancer treatment April 19-23, 2013 in Geneva, Switzerland. With over 5000 members in and outside Europe, ESTRO supports all the Radiation Oncology professionals in their daily practice and promotes innovation, research, and dissemination of science through its congresses, special meetings, educational courses and publications.

At the trade show, LinaTech showcased its cutting-edge radiotherapy technology and software solutions that provide superior and cost-effective products for cancer treatment with radiotherapy. The event was a great opportunity for the company to exhibit its advanced radiotherapy solutions to a wider audience in Europe and the surrounding regions, such as the Middle East and North Africa.

LinaTech's Dynamic Multi-Leaf Collimator (DMLC) is the number one add-on DMLC manufacturer in the world, which can seamlessly integrate with any linear accelerator (Linac) or Cobalt 60 (C60) machine and any Treatment Planning System (TPS). LinaTech's DMLCs provide radiotherapy clinics with the ability to precisely implement Conformal Radiation Therapy (CRT), Intensity Modulated Radiation Therapy (IMRT), Sliding Window, Step & Shoot IMRT, SRS, SRT, and SBRT. The DMLCs also have remote diagnosis and redundant design features, making them a highly reliable and user-friendly system in one fully integrated cancer treatment package.

LinaTech's next-generation Image Guided Radiation Therapy (IGRT) technology utilizes state-of-the-art digital flat panel detectors to capture a patient's treatment position and acquire MV images. The images are used by the Image Viewing System (IVS) to calculate three-dimensional shifts to correct the patient's position for precise radiotherapy treatments.

The company's Treatment Planning System (TPS) provides a complete package of planning modalities, including conformal, forward & inverse planning techniques, and dynamic sliding ARC with easy-to-use planning tools. The TPS also includes a DICOM RT import/export module for communication with most radiotherapy devices and Record & Verify (R&V) networks.

At ESTRO, LinaTech's representatives met with Radiation Oncology professionals and distributors interested in its superior products for treating cancer with radiotherapy. The company's multitude of technical innovations that dynamically synchronize imaging, patient positioning, treatment planning, and delivery garnered strong interest and attention, which will pave the way for the company's sales expansion in Europe and the surrounding regions.
