The Field Service Engineer position's primary role includes providing functional and technical support for all our Radiation Oncology Products.
A secondary role includes providing instruction and on-site training for our software & hardware Radiation Oncology Products.
This is an entry level position with no management responsibilities.
In addition, you will be responsible for:
• Provide software support by telephone, online & in person;
• Able to install and trouble-shoot computer hardware & software;
• Able to read design specifications and technical drawings;
• Research suitable solutions and estimate costs and timescales;
• On-site training of software products;
• Assist in documentation;
• Service and maintain customer equipment;
• Any other related duties and/or responsibilities as may be assigned.EDUCATION:
Minimum of a college degree in an Engineering field. Preferably Mechanical Engineering with a strong knowledge of software. You must also have a working understanding of electrical systems & components, computer software, hardware and Networking. We may consider those who are graduating with an Engineering degree by Spring 2015.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to travel to customer sites, within the US initially & globally in the future. This position is based in the Los Angeles, CA area.

Job Description:
The Sales Rep will be responsible for the direct sales of all LinaTech Radiation Oncology Products and Services and recruitment/management of all dealers in the assigned geographical area.
You will also have some Advertising, Marketing and Account Management responsibilities.
EDUCATION:
Software Sales, Technical Sales or Marketing and/or Medical Physics with a good understanding of medical technology, software and hardware.
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Direct working experience in the field of Radiation Oncology and/or capital equipment medical sales is REQUIRED. Experience managing dealers and/or distributors is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
Must have the ability to speak English fluently. Ability to speak Spanish and/or Portuguese preferred. Must have the ability to travel 50-70% of the time.
Expect the training period to be a minimum of one year.
